About

Freedx was a crypto exchange designed across desktop, mobile, and internal admin tooling. I worked across onboarding, KYC, account security, funding, trading, rewards, referrals, and operational workflows.

Problem

The challenge was to turn a large set of complex, high-risk financial flows into one clear and consistent product for both customers and internal teams.

Key decisions

• Used consistent patterns across deposits, withdrawals, swaps, bridges, transfers, fees, limits, confirmations, and completion states.

• Treated KYC, 2FA, account restrictions, errors, and recovery as guided workflows rather than isolated blockers.

• Made risk, failure reasons, and next steps explicit before users committed to high-stakes actions.

• Designed the customer exchange and internal admin platform as connected parts of the same system.

• Created responsive patterns from the beginning rather than adapting desktop screens at the end.

Outcome

The work established a production-ready foundation across the exchange, mobile product, and admin platform, supported by reusable components and shared interaction patterns.
